The purpose of ride-alongs is to establish a closer relationship and better understanding between police officers and the residents of Springfield. The program provides people with a unique opportunity to observe police officers performing their duties with the hope that they will gain an insight into the complexity of police work.
Complete a ride-along request form and return it by:
- hand-delivering it to SPD Headquarters (321 E. Chestnut Expy) from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Saturday (closed Sunday),
- scanning and emailing it to [email protected] or
- faxing it to 417-864-1714.
