Tree Registry

The Springfield Tree Registry was established by the Tree City USA Citizen Advisory Committee to heighten the level of awarenes and appreciation of Springfield's urban forest.

There are several reasons to register a special tree with the Springfield Tree Registry. Your contribution supports tree programs to plant and maintain trees within the City of Springfield. Here are some things you will receive when you register a tree:
  1. Parchment certificate with personalized tree name and dedication date
  2. Permanent record in the leather bound Springfield Book of Trees
  3. Tree booklet about tree care
  4. Letter of congratulations or memorial for the honoree
