A lot of the accidents here in Springfield seem to be caused by drivers being in too big of a hurry. They are late for something or need to be across town in just a few minutes. This rushing around causes drivers to run red lights and drive much too fast to get to where they are going. Accidents are the result. With the holiday season approaching if everyone would just manage their schedule to allow adequate time to make their appointments maybe we can keep someone from getting hurt. Please drive safely.
