Jason Hartke, from the U.S. Green Building Council, made a Council presentation about the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System. Hartke also appeared on a TV23 Mayor's Roundtable.

February 8, 2008

The Community Involvement Committee met and recommended approval with modifications.

February 25, 2008

The City of Springfield adopted a Green Building Policy for the construction and renovation of city owned buildings.
