More than 3,000 area high school students are expected to attend the annual Build My Future construction industry showcase, on Wednesday, April 5, at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds E*Plex in Springfield.

The event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and features 75 exhibitors representing a wide variety of construction industry-related careers from the skilled trades to architecture and engineering companies as well as public entities. A total of 86 schools and programs will be in attendance from a 25-county area.
