Missouri Job Center Hosts Hiring Event at SPS Back to School Bash
In conjunction with the SPS Back to School Bash, the Missouri Job Center is hosting a Hiring Event for SPS Families on Saturday, July 29, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Springfield Expo Center. The Hiring Event features 12 area employers with wide-ranging jobs in healthcare, education, construction, transportation and more.
Participating employers include: Bart’s Electric, Central Bank of the Ozarks, Citizens Memorial Hospital, DHL Supply Chain, Loren Cook, L & W Industries, McDonald’s, O’Reilly Auto Parts, Penmac, The Wooten Company and TTEC. In addition, SPS Human Resources will be on hand hiring for multiple departments including student nutrition and transportation.
Job seekers should bring copies of their resume and be prepared for possible on-site interviews. The Missouri Job Center on East Sunshine has a Career Closet to help individuals with interview appropriate clothing to assist job seekers in preparing for this hiring event. This resource is free to anyone looking for employment.
