FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Springfield Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in the investigation of two related robberies that occurred on Nov. 13 and 15.
Case 15-45645: On Nov. 13 at approximately 3:18 p.m., Springfield police were dispatched to Wilder Elementary School in reference to a robbery which had just occurred. The victim reported she was waiting to pick up a child at the school when a male made threats to her and then drove off in her Chevrolet Equinox.
Case 15-45905: On Nov. 15 at 12:06 p.m., Springfield police were sent to the Battlefield Mall in reference to a robbery which had just occurred. The victim reported she was robbed by a male who displayed a handgun after he bumped into her vehicle with the Chevrolet Equinox which was stolen during the Nov. 13 robbery. The suspect later used the victim's credit cards, and surveillance pictures were obtained of the suspect.
The Springfield Police Department is attempting to identify the suspect in the attached photographs who is believed to be wearing military uniforms which were stolen during a previous burglary within the city of Springfield.
