Jefferson Avenue downtown to reopen to one lane of southbound traffic by 5 p.m. Friday

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Jefferson Avenue will reopen to one lane of southbound traffic between Water Street and Park Central East/St. Louis Street by 5 p.m. tomorrow (Friday, Jan. 30). Traffic lane shifts are expected over the next several weeks as construction progresses.

Drivers should expect another short-term closure of Jefferson Avenue, as the existing street between Olive and Park Central East/St. Louis Street is removed and repaved.

Drivers are reminded to use caution while navigating through road construction.
