Original news release: The Springfield Police Department is investigating a report of a missing person and is asking for assistance from the public. Timothy “Scott” Bell, 49, was last contacted while receiving medical care in Springfield on March 10 and left an urgent care facility at 5:30 p.m. that day. He is believed to be en route to southern California.
Bell is 5 feet 6 inches, 180 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He is driving a gold 2006 Pontiac Torrent that possibly has California-issued license plates.
Bell has Type 1 Diabetes, for which he has not been taking his medication, as well as other serious health conditions.
Anyone with information related to the endangered missing person should immediately call 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency, or call the Springfield Police Department at 417-864-1810.
