Various lane shifts, closures to begin May 31 on Jefferson Ave, Phelps Street and Water Street

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Expect various lane shifts and street closures beginning Tuesday, May 31 on Jefferson Avenue between Phelps Street and Water Street, and on Phelps Street and Water Street at Jefferson Avenue as City Utilities works to complete gas and water utility renewal work over the next several weeks.

This utility work is being completed in preparation for the Jefferson Avenue streetscape project scheduled to begin in July.

Drivers are asked to use caution when driving through the construction project and use alternate roadways when possible.
