Public Works to install new all-way stop at the intersection of Fairview Avenue and LaSalle Street

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Springfield Public Works will be converting the intersection of Fairview Avenue and Lasalle Street in the Parkcrest neighborhood from a two-way stop to an all-way stop beginning the week of June 20.

This change is being made after a traffic study was conducted in response to citizen concerns.

All four intersection approaches will be clearly marked to alert drivers to the change. The current LED lights will be removed and the intersection will be monitored for compliance.
