The Ozark Region Workforce Development Board and the Missouri Job Center will be hosting a hiring event for several state agencies. The State Government Career Fair will be held at the main location, 2900 E Sunshine, from 1-4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 23. Those interested are invited to learn how to apply for careers at the State of Missouri and meet with agency representatives. Attending agencies include the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), Missouri State Highway Patrol, Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS), MoDOT, Missouri State Parks, Missouri Department of Corrections, Department of Labor & Industrial Relations, Missouri Department of Social Services, and Missouri Public Service Commission.
The main Springfield location, 2900 E Sunshine, will also be hosting a hiring event for US Security Associates on Tuesday, Feb. 21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. US Security Associates will be interviewing for full-time and part-time Security Officer positions.
The Branson Missouri Job Center will also be hosting hiring events for three employers. On Tuesday, Feb. 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Branson Zipline will be interviewing for Retail Sales and Zip Guides. On Wednesday, Feb. 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Honeysuckle Inn will be interviewing for Housekeeping and Front Desk positions. On Wednesday, Feb. 22, from 1 to 3 p.m., Pointe Royale will be interviewing for Food Service, Maintenance, and Greenskeeper positions.
The Ozark Region Workforce Development Board and Missouri Job Center serve the counties of Christian, Dallas, Greene, Polk, Stone, Taney, and Webster. The Ozark Region boasts three Missouri Job Center locations (Branson, North Springfield, and Springfield), as well as a Mobile Career Center.
