Nearly 20 local and national manufacturing companies are participating in an industry specific hiring event on Thursday, October 4, from 3:00 – 6:00 pm, at the Mill Building, 216 W. Central Street, just one block west of City Hall.
“This is a great opportunity for job seekers to meet with local and national manufacturers that are looking to hire quality employees for a wide-range of positions,” said Dennis Wiggins, Business Services Supervisor with the Job Center.
Representatives from area companies will be available to answer questions about job openings, and in some cases conduct on-site job interviews. Attendees should dress appropriately, bring an updated resume, and be ready to interview.
