More than 40 companies will be participating in a Multi-Industry Hiring Event geared toward military veterans on Friday, November 16, from 12 – 3:30 pm. The hiring event will be held at the Missouri Job Center, 2900 E. Sunshine in Springfield.
“This is a great opportunity for military vets and their spouses who are seeking employment to meet with local, regional and national companies that are looking to hire quality employees for a variety of positions,” said Glen Farrow, Local Veteran Employment Representative at the Missouri Job Center, however, you do not have to be a veteran to participate.” This is one of the largest hiring events we’ve hosted at the Job Center with employers from a five-county area, Farrow said.
Representatives from 44 companies in the Southwest Missouri area will be available to answer questions about job openings, and in some cases conduct on-site job interviews. Attendees should dress appropriately, bring an updated resume, and be ready to interview.
