AT&T customers unable to call 9-1-1

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 


Many AT&T customers are not currently able to call 9-1-1 from mobile phones in Greene County, and possibly nationwide. Springfield-Greene County 911 Emergency Communications assistant director J.R. Webb said he has received confirmation acknowledging that AT&T is working to address the issue, but has provided no timeframe for getting the issue resolved.

Webb advises people with AT&T service to call 417-862-7911 if they are unable to connect by dialing 9-1-1.
