The 2nd graders of Eugene Field Elementary heard of the possibility of demolition for this unique structure and created a campaign to save it: “A Penny A Day Helps The Footbridge Stay!” They have raised over
$200 in pennies. At this Art Show, the students will sign and sell their art and assist in selling sets of 5 notecards to benefit restoration efforts.
