The outside, northbound and southbound lanes of Fremont Avenue will close between Independence Street and Independence Street beginning 8:30 a.m. through 3:30 p.m., Thursday, March 14 and Friday, March 15 for Springfield Public Works public grounds crews to perform routine trimming of vegetation located in the public right of way. Traffic will continue to flow using the inside lanes.
Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through the area and obey work zone signage.
