Springfield Mayor Ken McClure would like to express his sincere condolences to the Branson community and all of those affected by last night's tragedy. He shares these words on behalf of himself, his colleagues on City Council and the City of Springfield.
“I would like to express sincere condolences to the Branson Community and all of those who are affected by last night's tragedy. We have always prided ourselves in supporting one another in times of need and in the case, we offer our prayers and words of encouragement for today and all of the tough days ahead. We are seeing the Ozarks at its best in this very tragic situation as rescue personnel, law enforcement, emergency medical services and health care providers have worked tirelessly together and in support of one another. Our prayers are with the families of those who have lost loved ones and also with those who are recovering. We extend an offer for support to Mayor Karen Best and her colleagues and thank Sheriff Doug Rader and his team.”
