Missouri Job Center to host Wednesday Works Hiring Event

The Missouri Job Center is hosting its weekly installment of Wednesday Works on April 10, from 9 to 11 am at the Job Center’s south location, 2900 E. Sunshine. Job seekers are invited to stop by and visit with representatives from six different companies including Gold Mountain Communications, Greene County Government, Mercy, Silver Dollar City, Job Finders and Red Monkey Foods.

Each of the six companies will be accepting resumes and many of them will also offer paper applications for job seekers to fill out on sight in lieu of requiring an online application. Job seekers should come in professional dress and be ready to interview.

“This concept began as a pilot project in March and has become so successful with both employers and job seekers, that we are making it into a weekly event,” said Dennis Wiggins, Business Services Supervisor with the Missouri Job Center.

For more information, please contact Communications Coordinator Katherine Trombetta at 417-841-3389, or [email protected].
