Missouri Job Center Hosts EO Lunch & Learn for Local Employers

The Missouri Job Center and the Missouri State University Small Business Development Center are teaming up to present Equal Opportunity Lunch & Learn Trainings for local employers in a seven-county region comprised of Christian, Dallas, Greene, Polk, Taney, Stone and Webster.

The Greene County Equal Opportunity Lunch & Learn training is Friday, May 17, 12:00 - 1:30 pm, at the Missouri Job Center, 2900 E. Sunshine, Springfield. Each county in the Ozark Region will have the opportunity to host an EO Lunch & Learn Training throughout the months of May and June.

“These 90-minute sessions provide human resource training to local employers on the Americans With Disabilities Act and how employers can make accommodations to meet the needs of the workforce,” said Sally Payne, assistant director of the Missouri Job Center. Participants will also learn more about the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace, Payne said.

Lunch will be provided at all trainings. To reserve your spot, contact Dennis Wiggins at [email protected]. For media inquiries, contact Katherine Trombetta at 417-841-3389 or [email protected].

The Ozark Region Missouri Job Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Program. Auxiliary aides and services are available upon request to individuals with disabilities.  MO TTY users may call 800-735-2966 or contact Missouri Relay at 711.
