FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Primrose Street will close overnight between Jefferson Avenue and Miami Court Aug. 5 and 6 for utility and stormwater work related to the Primrose Street Widening project. The roadway will close at 10 p.m. and reopen at 6 a.m. the following morning.
The Primrose Widening Project will widen Primrose Street to five lanes between South Avenue and Kimbrough Avenue and includes the addition of bike lanes, sidewalks, storm sewer, curb and gutter, gas and water renewals, traffic signal upgrades at the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and Primrose Street, and a sewer extension.
The project is funded by the 1/4-cent Capital Improvement Sales Tax.
