Utility work along Walnut Street downtown to affect on-street parking stalls

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

A utility company will install fiber optic cables downtown along Walnut Street between Market Avenue and Jefferson Avenue beginning Monday, Jan. 13 and lasting for two weeks. Downtown visitors and business owners can expect several on-street parking stalls along the south side of Walnut Street to be closed and a few sidewalks to potentially be affected.

This work is not expected to impact traffic flow, although motorists are advised to use caution when driving through the work area.
