Missouri Job Center to Host Large Hiring Event in Dallas County on January 30
The Missouri Job Center Ozark Region in conjunction with Dallas County Schools and the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce, is hosting a Rural Outreach Hiring Event on January 30, from 9 am to 2 pm at the Buffalo High School Fieldhouse.
Job seekers will be able to visit with at least 15 area employers about career opportunities. The Missouri Job Center’s Mobile Unit will be on site to assist with online applications as well as resumes. Students from Dallas County Vocational Technical School as well as local high school students will also get the chance to visit with employers.
“There is a higher unemployment rate in the Dallas County area and people are looking for good paying jobs,” said Cynthia Collins with the Missouri Job Center. “There will be companies attending the event from in and around Buffalo, as well as Bolivar, Fair Play and Springfield,” Collins said.
Attendees should dress appropriately and bring copies of their resume if possible. For information about the event, please contact Katherine Trombetta at 417-841-3389 or [email protected].
