Missouri Department of Labor Releases New Unemployment Benefits Information
The Missouri Department of Labor released updated information today on filing unemployment benefits for those laid off due to COVID-19. The document also addresses eligibility for Pandemic Unemployment Compensation in Missouri. Also included in the 26-point Q&A, are directions for businesses on how to file a mass claim when lay offs occur and how to participate in Missouri’s shared work program.
It is important to note that UInteract, Missouri’s unemployment system, will be down for maintenance beginning at 10 pm on April 9 and ending at 6 am on April 10. To file an unemployment claim and to access the Q&A document, visit https://labor.mo.gov/.
