The Springfield-Greene County Health Department will offer an in-person media briefing today at 2 p.m. in the Training Room of the Public Safety Center.
We appreciate your patience as we adjust to a new, new normal. We ask that you arrive 15-20 minutes early for a health screening, and practice physical distancing.
Today’s topics will include a focus on the CDC’s announcement of additional identified COVID-19 symptoms, as well as expanded testing options for essential workers.
Media can utilize footage from a pool camera, but will be spaced to maintain physical distancing. Reporters and the public can continue to tune in to the livestream on the City’s and Health Department’s Facebook pages or at https://cityview.springfieldmo.gov/livestream/.
Questions should be directed via text message to Cora Scott, 417-380-3352, which will be included in the briefing on a first come, first served basis.
