The Springfield Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing, endangered person.
The missing person is 19-year-old Harmony J. Shay. Shay was last seen at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 13, 2020, at the Family Dollar store located at 2869 W. Chestnut Expressway.
A witness at the location saw Shay being forced into a vehicle against her will by a white man in his 30s, possibly named Keith. He had short dark hair and was wearing a red t-shirt that said "Greatest on Earth." The vehicle is described as an older silver 4 door sedan, possibly a Toyota, with tinted windows, a sunroof, no front license plate, slight damage to the hood near the headlights, and missing a passenger-side front hubcap.
Shay is a white female, she is 5’3, 102 lbs., has blue eyes and blond hair. She also has tattoos on both hips, both ankles, and her right shoulder. She was last seen wearing a grey shirt and jeans.
Police are seeking to confirm her well-being. Anyone with information concerning her whereabouts should call 911 or the Springfield Police Department at 417-864-1810 or make an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers at 417-869-TIPS (8477).
