Missouri Job Center Hosts Drive Thru Job Fair in Branson
The Missouri Job Center is hosting a Drive Thru Job Fair on Thursday, October 8 from 11 am to 1 pm in the parking lot of the Branson Missouri Job Center, 2720 Shepherd of the Hills Expressway. Eleven employers will be present to talk to job seekers about employment opportunities in the Branson area.
“Taney County continues to experience some of the highest unemployment rates in Missouri at just over 10 percent, because of this we are always looking for ways to connect people to job opportunities,” said Dennis Wiggins, Business Services Supervisor with the Missouri Job Center. "In addition to speaking to employers, job seekers will be given information on job training opportunities in the areas of healthcare, IT, transportation, manufacturing and construction," Wiggins said.
Participating employers include Atrium Hospitality (Chateau on the Lake), CoxHealth Branson, Silver Dollar City, Mastercorp, Big Cedar Lodge, Royal Oak Enterprises, Ripley’s Believe It or Not!, Wal-Mart, Panera Bread Co., Andy B’s and Belk Department Store.
