All Missouri Job Center Locations Move to Appointment Only Status
Under the guidance of the state Office of Workforce Development, all Missouri Job Center locations statewide, including Springfield and Branson, will move to appointment only beginning Friday, November 20. This appointment only status will last at least until December 31, 2020.
Job Centers will be serving customers virtually or on an appointment-only basis as a continued approach to mitigate the spread of the Coronavirus. “We are still here to serve our customers, just in a different way,” said Interim Director of Workforce Development, Sally Payne. “Customers may call the Job Center and book a same-day appointment over the phone or visit our Facebook page to request an appointment,” she said.
Prior to a customer’s in-person appointment, several screening questions will be asked to ensure clients are symptom free before proceeding with their appointment. Most appointments will be limited to one hour. Hours of operation will remain the same at each of the Job Center’s three locations. For more information about Job Center services, call 417-887-4343.
