Missouri Job Center to Release Momentum Workforce Survey Results
The Missouri Job Center will release the results of its annual Momentum State of the Workforce survey today, February 24, at 11 am. The virtual presentation will be available to view on the Job Center’s Facebook page and the city’s website, springfieldmo.gov/momentum.
“We are excited to share this year’s results along with great information from the state on Job Centers of the Future,” said Sally Payne, Interim Director of Workforce Development for the City. “Dr. Mardy Leathers will give us a preview of how Job Centers will serve both businesses and job seekers in the future, and we’ll hear from JMARK CEO Thomas Douglas on how his IT company shifted into high gear to support virtual work environments in the last year,” Payne added.
“This year’s luncheon event was called off due to concerns surrounding the pandemic, but we look forward to being back in person next year,” said Payne. “In the meantime, we hope the information provided in the 2021 survey proves valuable to the community.”
