The Springfield-Greene County Health Department is excited to announce that all Missourians are now able to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. Today, April 9, the state activated Phase 3 of vaccine distribution extending eligibility to everybody in Missouri 16 and older.
“We encourage all individuals to get vaccinated as soon as possible,” said Acting Director of Health Katie Towns. “Vaccination is the best defense we have against this virus and its variants. The sooner that individuals receive vaccine, the sooner our community can return to normal. Most importantly, the vaccines are saving lives.”
