The City and the Springfield-Greene County Health Department will host a media briefing at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 4, at the Public Safety Center at 330 W. Scott about anticipated City Council action at tonight’s meeting in response to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s new guidance regarding masking while outdoors. Pediatrician Kayce Morton, D.O., who serves patients at CoxHealth and Jordan Valley Community Health Center, will speak about the vital role vaccine plays in protecting our community and helping us return to our everyday lives.
We ask that members of the media arrive 10-15 minutes early and self-screen for COVID-19 symptoms. Please wear a face mask and practice physical distancing while in the briefing.
