Media availability at 3 p.m. today at Public Safety Center

MEDIA ALERT

The Springfield-Greene County Health Department will hold a media availability today at 3 p.m. at the Public Safety Center at 330 W. Scott St.

Leaders from the Health Department, Office of Emergency Management, CoxHealth and Mercy Springfield will provide an update on a funding request to establish an Alternate Care Site in response to the growing needs for acute care in Greene County due to COVID-19.

Questions can be directed to Aaron Schekorra, Public Health Information Administrator, at 417-380-2556.
