A coalition of public health entities, hospital partners and community leaders across the Ozarks region, has come together again to better understand the health status, behaviors and needs of the residents in our region.
Every three years, the Ozarks Health Commission convenes to reassess the health of our region and issue the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA). This assessment requires input on the health issues and needs from the broader community.
To that end, the Springfield-Greene County Health Department is asking the public to provide feedback on their local healthcare needs and experiences by completing the survey available now at ozarkshealthcommission.org. The survey will take approximately 8 to 10 minutes, and is available in English and Spanish. Individual personal information will not be shared or connected with your responses. The deadline to complete the survey is Friday, October 8th.
In addition to input from the survey, the 2022 assessment will combine more than 140 hospital and community data indicators as well as feedback from stakeholders. The resulting CHNA will allow decision-makers to have a more holistic and up-to-date picture with which to strategically address community health concerns.
