UPDATE:
Arrest Made in Neighborhood Assault
On November 8th, 2021, at 5:41 p.m., Springfield Police Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of E. Meadowmere in response to a report to a female being assaulted. Officers have been actively engaged in investigating the crime since that time.
SPD Detectives identified a person of interest in the case and on November 18, 2021, they located and arrested Jimicia Wells, a 29 year old female from Springfield for the assault. Wells has been booked into the Greene County Jail and reports have been presented to the Greene County Prosecutor’s Office for review and a decision on the filing of charges.
