Winter Vaccine Event opens new appointments for Dec. 11

Winter Vaccine Event Info (3)

The Springfield-Greene County Health Department is opening new appointment slots for its second Winter Vaccine Event this Saturday, Dec. 11. To ensure those who attend the event will get their 1st or 2nd dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, appointments will be required, and walk-ins will not be accepted. Appointments for the Winter Vaccine Event are available online at or by calling the COVID-19 call center at (417) 874-1211.

Everyone who gets their 1st or 2nd dose on Saturday will receive a $50 gift card and a chance to win prizes, while supplies last. Following the success of the first Winter Vaccine Event in November where nearly 1000 vaccines were administered, the Health Department is excited to offer another opportunity for individuals 5 and up to be vaccinated.

The Winter Vaccine Event will be held at two different locations on Dec. 11 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.:

  • Williams Elementary, 2205 W Kearney St.
  • Health Department Clinic, 1425 E Battlefield Road (Old Toys R Us)

The Health Department would once again like to thank Springfield Public Schools and Community Foundation of the Ozarks for their partnership and help in hosting these events.
