New COVID-19 vaccination hours at Westside Public Health Center beginning Aug. 22

COVID-19 News

Beginning Monday, Aug. 22, the Westside Public Health Center (660 S. Scenic Ave.) COVID-19 vaccination hours will change to Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. with a one-hour break between 12 p.m.-1 p.m. Additionally, only walk-ins for vaccines will be accepted.

The Westside Public Health Center has been a permanent clinic for COVID-19 vaccinations since Springfield-Greene County Health transitioned its vaccine efforts from the old Toys ‘R’ Us building in February of this year.

Springfield-Greene County Health will continue to provide opportunities for the public to get vaccinated by hosting pop-up clinics across town in addition to these new hours. By making COVID-19 vaccination at Westside walk-ins only, the public will be able to stop and get vaccinated any time during operating hours.

Getting vaccinated is the best way to avoid severe illness from COVID-19. For more vaccination opportunities, visit vaccine417.com or call the COVID-19 call center at 417-874-1211. Those receiving their primary doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, or a first booster is eligible for a $50 gift card while supplies last.
