This week’s COVID-19 public vaccination opportunities: September 26–30

Greene County remains at a low-level impact for COVID-19 with a 7-day rolling average of 41 cases. Hospitalizations in Greene County hospitals are slightly down from earlier this month with 38 individuals hospitalized as of Sept. 21 compared to 57 on Sept. 2. 

Getting vaccinated remains the best way to avoid hospitalization from severe COVID-19 symptoms. 

Springfield-Greene County Health will be hosting a pop-up COVID-19 vaccination clinics this week in an effort to provide weekly vaccination opportunities to the community. 

To accommodate demand, COVID-19 vaccines and boosters will be by appointment only at Westside Public Health Center through the month of September. To make an appointment, please call 417-874-1211 or visit vaccine417.com. 

Individuals who receive a primary (first or second) dose of the COVID-19 vaccine or their first booster shot at a Health Department clinic will receive a $50 gift card while supplies last.

Monday, September 26

  • Westside Public Health Center –660 S. Scenic Ave., from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Closed 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. for lunch. Appointment only. Pfizer (5+) and Moderna (6+) offered. 

Tuesday, September 27

Thursday, September 29

  • Westside Public Health Center –660 S. Scenic Ave., from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Closed 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. for lunch. Appointment only. Pfizer (5+) and Moderna (6+) offered.

Friday, September 30

  • AIDS Project of the Ozarks Downtown –303 Park Central W., from 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Pfizer (5+) offered. 
  • Westside Public Health Center –660 S. Scenic Ave., from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Appointment only. Pfizer (5+) and Moderna (6+) offered.
