This week’s COVID-19 public vaccination opportunities: Dec. 4 – Dec. 10

Springfield-Greene County Health encourages everyone to consider getting vaccinated against COVID-19. A weekly schedule for COVID-19 vaccination opportunities in Greene County for Dec. 4 – Dec. 10 can be found below. Vaccination against COVID-19 can help prevent severe illness and hospitalization. If you have any questions about COVID-19 vaccination, please visit vaccine417.com or call 417-874-1211.

Individuals who receive a primary (first or second) dose of the COVID-19 vaccine or their first booster shot at a Health Department clinic will receive a $50 gift card while supplies last.

The Health Department is nearing the end of its supply of influenza vaccines. Flu shots may be available at COVID-19 clinics hosted at the Springfield-Greene County Libraries this week to those 19 and older who are uninsured or underinsured. Getting both your flu and COVID-19 vaccine at or around the same time is considered safe.

  • Westside Public Health Center – 660 S. Scenic Ave., from 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.  Closed 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. for lunch. Novavax offered today.

Tuesday, December 6

  • Westside Public Health Center – 660 S. Scenic Ave., from 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.  Closed 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. for lunch. 
  • Strafford Library – 101 S. State Highway 125, from 1:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m
  • Library Center – 4653 S. Campbell Ave. from 5:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m.

Thursday, December 8

  • Westside Public Health Center – 660 S. Scenic Ave., from 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.  Closed 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. for lunch. 
  • Library Station– 2535 N. Kansas Expy., from 2:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m.   

Friday, December 9

  • Westside Public Health Center – 660 S. Scenic Ave., from 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.  Closed 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. for lunch.
