Transport in original containers if possible. If you need to repackage a deteriorating container, place entire container in a plastic bucket with a tight lid and label accordingly.
Transport chemicals in the trunk or in your truck bed in a sturdy box or container surrounded by newspaper or absorbent material to prevent spilling. If you must transport inside the vehicle, roll down the windows for ventilation and don't smoke. Do not smoke during drop-off.
Will not accept a plastic trash bag with more than one chemical container in it. This is an extremely dangerous way to transport your chemicals.
When arriving at your appointment, turn off the engine and stay in your car. An employee will come to you with a registration form to fill out your basic information, and we take care of the rest!
Will NOT Accept: Unknown materials without labels; PCB's/Pharmaceuticals; Explosives/Ammunition; Radioactive Wastes; Infectious Wastes; Compressed Gas Cylinders; Laboratory Chemicals; or any waste from a business or non-profit.
